AKB48 Murder Mystery CM for Glicos

Girl group AKB48 will star in a series of “Murder Mystery” commercials for Glico’s “Ice no Mi” candy campaign. The story is a collaboration of Detective Conan’s creator Gosho Aoyama and AKB48’s founder Akimoto Yasushi.
The “AKB48 Murder Cases File 1” starts upon the death of fellow idol- Rena Kato. Atsuko Maeda arrives at the murder scene and takes notes of the only clues left by Kato: “N” and “23K.24AB”. All the members present at the scene are suspects.
The first out of five CM premiers on June 25th . The campaign's manga with 9 chapters will debut in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine on July 4th.
