Koda Kumi Provides Theme Song to Anime "Total Eclipse"

Popular Japanese singer Koda Kumi has announced that she will be performing the opening theme song to upcoming TV anime "Total Eclipse", titled "Go to the top". The song is composed and arranged by CLARABELL(RzC), while its lyrics is written by Koda Kumi herself.
A CD release of the song is not officially announced yet.
"Total Eclipse" will premiere in Japan on July 1st. The preview has been uploaded on its official Youtube channel.

Aqua Timez to Release New Single "Tsubomi"

Pop-rock band Aqua Timez will be releasing a new single this August titled "Tsubomi". The said single will be used for TV drama "Ghost Mama Sosasen - Boku to Mama no Fushigi na 100 Nichi -". The said drama stars actress Nakama Yukie.
"I am very honored to be in charge for this drama's theme song, I'm happy and I hope that the song would suit the drama' theme," Futoshi commented. This will be the second time that the band would sing for a drama starring Nakama Yukie, the first one was during Gokusen 3 where they sang "Niji".
"Tsubomi" will be released on Aug 22nd. The single will also have two additional tracks, which includes the band's first remix track.
Furthermore, Aqua Timez will also be embarking on a fan club tour tour starting in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. The "~FANtastic Tour 2012~" will start on Aug 21st at Zepp Nagoya.

Jakarta – MBLAQ (Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality) is a korean boys group under J.Tune Camp finally arrived in Jakarta yesterday at around 20:40 (GMT+7). Jakarta is the first city in their Asia Tour, where Dynamo Buzz, Gamma Live and Sound Rhythm in collaboration with CJ E&M M-Live and  CABA Entertainment to bring 2012 MBLAQ ‘THE BLAQ% TOUR” on 30th June 2012 to Mata Elang International Stadium, Ancol, Jakarta. MBLAQ itself has Seung Ho (leader, lead vocalist, lead dancer), G.O (main vocalist), Lee Joon (vocalist, main dancer, visual), Thunder (vocalist, lead rapper, lead dancer, visual), dan  Mir (main rapper and the maknae).

Today, in press conference at Swiss-belhotel, MBLAQ chosen Jakarta as their very first stop for their Asia tour is because there are a lot of mentions from Indonesian A+, and Lee Joon said that he would like to try Mie Goreng (Fried Noodle) as he already tried Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice).

In this Jakarta’s tour, MBLAQ will be giving surprises for the fans, and they are working very hard for their first Tour’s Stop. There will be a duo performance by Mir and G.O also there also a Solo by Thunder.

Rainbow member Go Woo Ri recently participated in a photo shoot and few of those photos were unveiled for fans today.
Go Woo Ri was chosen as the cover model for the July issue of fashion magazine “InStyle.” The concept for the magazine’s photoshoot was that of “Everyday Stylish Go Woo Ri.”
In the article Go Woo Ri discusses her day-to-day life. The photos further enhanced the theme of daily life by having her pose in everyday situations such as shopping, having afternoon tea, or transforming into a sexy and stylish club goer.
The pictorial is attracting much attention as it displays her beauty through Go Woo Ri’s youthful charm and purity along with her sexy and alluring side.
She commented on her experience saying, “I feel I was able to show my sincere self. I think it went very well and I had a lot of fun.”

Younha Releases Audio Teasers for Upcoming Album “Supersonic”

With the release of Younha‘s new album “Supersonic” being released in four days, two brief audio teasers were revealed today. Yesterday, a video teaser for the album was released.
The first teaser has a rock sounding intro before her sweet sounding voice is heard. The second audio teaser is almost two minutes long and features a beautiful and uplifting instrumental that focuses on guitar sounds.

Before her comeback, she recently released the song “Would We Have Changed” featuring John Park.

Screen captures of the top four finishers of ‘K-pop Star‘, Lee Seung Hoon, Baek Ah Yeon, Park Ji Min, and Lee Ha Yi have been gaining attention with the new season of ‘K-Pop Star’ rolling around later this year.
These screen caps are from the video teaser for SBS’s ‘K-pop Star Season 2‘, in which the four finalists from the first season were shown practicing at their respective agencies of YG Entertainment and JYP Entertainment, while showing off their new looks. Seeing these four contestants on their road to achieving their dreams will no doubt inspire many to audition for the next season of the popular audition show.

Representatives have stepped up, however, to deny the report, stating, “It’s a false report.” On the afternoon of June 29th, representatives expressed, “Reports of Han Ye Seul getting married are unfounded. The reports were written as if they had a source but it’s all false.”
Han Ye Seul was also caught in a scandal late last year with a prominent figure of a broadcasting company, but that was also found to be false.

Eddie Shin, Jay “Flowsik” Pak, and Nicky Lee of AZIATIX made an appearance on the June 29th edition of KBS‘s Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.
During the interview portion, they briefly talked about their producer, former SOLID member Jung Jae Yoon (Jae Chong). The host also took notice of Nicky Lee’s American accent when speaking Korean.
Nicky talked about how they’re all from different places including New York, Boston, and Los Angeles but they all got together in Seoul. To the surprise of the host, Nicky also stated that he used to be a member of an old school K-pop group called Voice and he also briefly talked about his popularity as a musician in Taiwan. Member Eddie Shin also showed off his beatboxing skills while Flowsik was rapping. After Flowsik showed off his fast rapping skills, the host joked that he heard that before at an auction.

With new member Shine, the group made their comeback in Korea after a long hiatus. Although CHI CHI had a shaky start, their new comeback track is being extremely well received. The addicting melody and the mesmerizing “Hand Blender” dance has caught the attention of viewers, putting the group in a brand new light.

f(x) Sulli expressed her anxiety and anticipation for her upcoming drama where she plays the lead. She told E-Daily Star In, “It’s been a long time since I have come in front of the public as an actress. I am excited but also very nervous at the same time.”
Sulli will be appearing in the upcoming drama “To the Beautiful You” which will begin broadcasting in August. The story is based on a Japanese manga and is about a high jump gold medalist who becomes disheartened and is helped by a beautiful girl who dresses up as a boy. (The gold medalist attends an All Boy High School)
Sulli stated, “This is the first time I am acting after appearing in a drama at a very young age, and the manga is one that I enjoyed reading. This is why I feel more pressure to do well. I am both excited and nervous about this project.”

In partnership with Swizz Beatz, a popular American hip-hop producer, they will produce new designs and launch a campaign for Reebok 2012 Classic. The shoes that the duo will design are expected to be bear their names so Reebok is hoping that their company will be invigorated through this collaboration.

The band's last single, "From Disk Till Dawn", was released on December 16, 2009, causing excitement among fans eagerly awaiting their comeback.

Meanwhile, the tracklist for Wooyoung’s upcoming solo album “23, Male, Single” has been unveiled several hours ago. The album will contain a total of seven tracks, two of which had been produced by his fellow 2PM members, Junsu and Junho. His title track “Sexy Lady” is produced by J.Y. Park “The Asiansoul.” Wooyoung’s “23, Male, Single” is slated for release on July 8.

T-ara‘s comeback is just around the corner and ahead of its release, the album jacket photo and tracklist have been revealed!
The title track, also titled “Day by Day“, is the work of composer Cho Young Soo and Ahn Young Min, and is expected to be another hit for the girls. The song starts off with what’s described to be Hwayoung‘s “boyish” charm rap, which was helped written by Hwayoung herself.
Another special track to look out for is “Don’t Leave“, which is a ballad that at one point features the emotional exchange between Eunjung‘s vocals and new member Ahreum‘s rap.
As reported earlier, the album is scheduled for release on and offline on July 3rd and the music video for the title track is sure to be one that fans can anticipate.

After School Discusses Their Concept, Kahi, & Their Goal for “Flashback”

The fierce and sexy ladies of After School has recently made a comeback after a one-year hiatus with their newest title track, “Flashback“, which combines powerful performance and ferocity to become a worthy successor to their previous tracks, such as “Because of You“, “Bang!“, and “Diva“.
News outlet Sports Seoul recently sat down with the girls to pick their brain about some issues and questions surrounding their group and their most recent comeback.

• Did you know of your fans’ requests to return to your previous strong style?

“Our fans seemed to like concepts such as “Diva”, “Because of You”, and “Ah!“” said UEE. “So this time around, we chose to be powerful and sexy. Outright sexiness is something that hasn’t been tried before by After School, but this time we chose to follow our fans’ wishes.”

• Kahi, who was your leader and foundation, left the group. How do you feel?

“We were very sad that she was leaving, and in turn, she worried a lot about us as well,” said Jung-Ah. “But even if she graduates, she is still a part of Pledis Entertainment. We cheered each other up, hoping that both of us will do well,” she said. “Kahi unni yelled, ‘After School forever!’”

• What are some advantages/disadvantages to your graduation/admissions system?

“There are more advantages than disadvantages, we think. You graduate when you have confidence that you’ll be able to stand on your own,” Raina said. “But there will definitely be obstacles, such as having to do everything by yourself, when before, you had your members around you.”

• In place of Kahi, the newest team member, Ka-Eun was recruited

“Our maknae speaks Japanese very well, since she lived there for three years,” Jung-Ah said. “She’s a big asset to our Japanese promotions. (laughs) She’s tall and dances well.”

• Lizzy became an adult this year.

“Now, I want to show something new,” Lizzy confessed. “Since I was a part of Orange Caramel, I have a very cute image and I think this comeback will be able to change that. I even got to be in the center for a part of the opening.” (laughs)

• Along with the rest of the K-Pop world, you took off to Japan. Wasn’t it hard?

“For two months, we always stuck together, so I think it became an impetus to closer relationships between the members,” Nana revealed. “People didn’t know who we were as individuals at first, but that’s starting to change. A difficult part was that the yen was high, so we were financially strapped, I think?” (laughs)

• Due to your Japanese promotions, you couldn’t meet with your Korean fans.

“We worried about if we were going to be forgotten by our fans in Korea. That’s why we worked harder than ever on this comeback,” E-Young confessed. “We’ve waited so long for a domestic stage and I also wanted to do this kind of sexy concept. I’m more anxious than I was at my debut.”

• What are the goals of After School with their comeback?

“We’d like to place first with this comeback, and also want to hold a solo concert in Korea,” UEE said. “Also, we hope that our fans will keep loving us despite the member changes.”

After revealing various concept photos and previews of their songs, ZE:A has released another teaser to draw in anticipation for their upcoming comeback with “Aftermath” off their upcoming album, ‘Spectacular‘.
As reported earlier, “Aftermath” is the title track off the group’s new album and will showcase a new side to the boys that hasn’t been seen before!

Gackt : “I’ll Ask Ayumi If We’re Dating in Bed”

GACKT recently made an indirect but sly response confirming rumors about his relationship status at a press conference for Clamp’s playwright “Moon Saga: The Secret of Yoshitsune“. Ever since the Japanese paparazzi captured a photo of Ayumi and Gackt dining at a famous French restaurant last week, public interest went up as rumors of the two star dating flew back and forth internet forums.
When Gackt was asked to waive or confirm the rumors he jokingly replied, “Since Ayumi and I haven’t exactly said anything to each other about actually dating…I guess I will ask her to define the relationship later in bed” causing more than one reporter to turn a brighter shade of pink from his honest yet playful retort.
The couple does appear however to be considering the idea of making their relationship public, judging by Gackt’s press comment and Ayumi’s tweet last week, “If I could tell you anything…it might be that I’m seeing somebody.”
“Moon Saga: The Secret of Yoshitsune” will run in Tokyo, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Osaka from July 15 to August 26. Gackt will play the role of leading male Minamoto no Yoshitsune, a general who was critical to the Genpei War that inspired the literary classic Heike Monogatari (Tale of the Heike).

On June 28th, Insoo posted on MYNAME’s official Twitter, “A big present arrived for me, someone who has received a lot of help from the fact that people commented that I look like Junsu sunbae ever since my debut… Each [of his] word is a like a big lesson for me…You’re the best! Let’s get food sometime and play soccer, Junsu hyung!!! Thank you!!^^” along with a photo.
In the picture, Insoo is seen holding up a signed album from the sunbae his has looked up since his past. The hand-written message from Junsu reads, “Let’s get food sometime. Are you good at soccer?” showing Junsu’s affections for his younger look-alike.
