7,000 of JYJ‘s Japanese fans will be making their way over to Korea

It looks like 7,000 of JYJ‘s Japanese fans will be making their way over to Korea for the boys’ Membership Week‘ event that was announced earlier this year.
JYJ’s agency C-JeS Entertainment reported June 13th, “JYJ’s ’2012 JYJ Membership Week’ will be held at SETEC in Seoul for four days starting the 28th, and 7,024 Japanese fans will be crossing over to Korea to attend. This will most likely set a new record for most foreigners to enter [the country] for a single-day event.”
This is a special event put on by C-JeS Entertainment for the fans who have JYJ membership, and the ’2012 JYJ Membership Week’ event is the first fan expo to be held in Korea. The event will include a variety of events, including a fan meeting, a 3D Media Façade, Trick Art, and more.
Over 25,000 fans are expected to be in attendance, including 15,000 official Korean members, as well as 7,024 registered Japanese members.
The Japanese are flying in from 14 different airports including Haneda, Narita, and Kansai airports on 116 different airplanes. The fans have currently booked over 1,000 rooms in not only Seoul, but Incheon, Suwon, and more.
An insider from CJeS Entertainment remarked, “15,000 fans with registered JYJ membership applied to attend this event, and among them, 7,024 were selected by casting lots. This is the first time so many Japanese fans are crossing over to Korea for a one-time Hallyu-related event. Thanks to JYJ’s influence, the Korean travel corporations have established a new record.
