Fruits Basket Director to Hold Auditions for New Anime

Akitaro Daichi
Akitaro Daichi, best known for directing Fruits Basket and Kodocha, will be holding voice actor auditions for a new anime. Applications will be accepted until July 7, and results will be announced on August 10.
Applicants must be active members of acting groups or current or former members of voice acting organizations. The audition process will be open to men aged 18 and over, but minors will only be able to apply with permission from their guardian. Attendance at a voice actor school or any other similar training is also required.
A two-page dialogue recording as the character Kumagai from Daichi's Dango Gonta original net anime will be needed. Preliminary judging is going to be based on application materials and voice recordings provided by the potential voice actors. The final round, in July, will be examining the applicant's practical skills.
